Connecting Leadfwd

Leadfwd connects to the platform in two ways — as an outreach sequencing tool for pushing enriched contacts into sequences, and as an email finder provider in the waterfall. Connect it once and both capabilities are available.

What this integration does

As an outreach tool: Push enriched contacts into Leadfwd sequences automatically from Signals, manually from the Contacts manager, or conditionally via AI Agent actions.

As an email finder: When Leadfwd is connected, it becomes available as a provider in the waterfall email finder — using your Leadfwd account credits instead of platform credits, at no additional platform credit cost.

Connecting Leadfwd

Leadfwd requires two credentials — an API key and an API secret:

  1. Go to Integrations in the left sidebar.

  2. Find Leadfwd and click Configure.

  3. Enter your Leadfwd API Key.

  4. Enter your Leadfwd API Secret.

  5. Click Save to connect.

Find both credentials in your Leadfwd account settings under API access.

Pushing contacts from a Signal (automatic)

In the Signal Configure step, once contact enrichment is enabled, Leadfwd becomes available on the Integrations step of the Signal wizard.

  1. In the Signal wizard, go to the Integrations step.

  2. Find Leadfwd and enable it.

  3. Select the sequence to enroll contacts into.

  4. Optionally configure:

    • Export only verified emails — skip contacts without a verified email

    • Allow export without email — push contacts even if no email is found

  5. Save the Signal.

Pushing contacts from the Contacts manager (manual)

  1. Go to Contacts in the left sidebar.

  2. Select the contacts you want to push.

  3. Click Export → Leadfwd.

  4. Select the sequence.

  5. Confirm the push.

No batch limit applies to Leadfwd sequence pushes.

Pushing contacts via AI Agent (conditional)

In the AI Agent Actions step, add a conditional action and choose Add to Leadfwd Sequence. Select the sequence and configure email requirements. The push fires only when the agent's output matches your condition.

Using Leadfwd as an email finder

Once connected, Leadfwd appears as an available provider in the Email and Mobile Finder waterfall on any Signal. Enable it in the provider sequence and drag it to your preferred position.

When Leadfwd is used to find an email, the lookup uses your Leadfwd account credits — no platform credits are charged.

Requirements

Contacts must be enriched (2 credits) before they can be pushed to Leadfwd sequences. For email finding, contacts need a first name, last name, and website domain — contacts missing these fields are skipped automatically.
