The Contacts manager is your centralised database of every person enriched from your Signals. It brings together contacts from across all your Signals into one searchable, filterable, and actionable view.

The Contacts manager — an overview

Each contact in your account has a full profile sheet — a single view of everything the platform knows about that person, including their enriched data, every Signal they've appeared in, and every action they've taken across your monitoring.

The Contacts manager has several layers of filtering — from a simple search bar to granular field-level conditions. This article covers all of them so you can always find exactly the contacts you need.

Searching and filtering your contacts

Tags are labels you assign to contacts to categorise, segment, and filter them. They're flexible by design — you can use them however makes sense for your workflow.

Select any number of contacts and act on all of them at once — add to lists, apply tags, find emails, push to integrations, run AI Agents, or delete. Bulk actions work on up to 1,000 contacts at a time - and 150 at a time for Integration push requests.

A Signal is an automated monitor that monitors Professional Social Network (or Reddit/YouTube) for activity you care about — and brings it to you, so you never have to search manually.

What is a Signal?

Choosing the right Signal type is the most important decision when creating a Signal. This article explains each type and gives practical guidance on which to use for common scenarios.

Types of social Signals

Creating a Signal takes about two minutes. Use the wizard at Create Social Signal in the left sidebar — it walks you through each setting in order.

Create your first Signal

You can edit any Signal at any time. Changes take effect on the next run. Opening the edit panel is a two-click process from the Signals list.

Edit an existing Signal

Pausing a Signal stops it from running without losing any of your settings or past results. Deleting removes it permanently. Both actions take just a few seconds from the Signals list.

Signal Results is where all the activity your Signal collected lives. You can search, filter, sort, expand individual posts, and take action on contacts — all from one view.

Capture Social Engagement

A Signal collects posts. From each post, you can choose to save people as enriched contacts — the post author, people who reacted (liked), and people who commented. Understanding this flow is the key to getting the most value from your Signals while keeping credit costs under control.

The job title filter and employee filter are pre-enrichment gates. They run before any credits are spent on enrichment, meaning you only pay -2 credits for people who actually match your criteria. For high-volume Signals, these filters can reduce enrichment costs by 10x or more.

Once a contact has been enriched, you can automatically find and verify their email address and mobile number. This runs after enrichment and costs additional credits — but only when a valid result is found.

Once contacts are enriched from a Signal, you can automatically add them to a named List. This keeps your contacts organised by source and makes it easy to act on them in bulk.

AI Agents

The signal tells you who. The AI Agent makes it actionable. Agents read your social data, qualify it against criteria you define in plain language, and trigger the right action automatically — before a human touches it.

AI Agents run on your own LLM account — you bring your own API key. This gives you full control over which models you use, how much you spend, and which provider you trust with your data. You must connect at least one provider before you can create or run AI Agents.

Actions are what your agent does with its output. Basic actions run every time. Conditional actions run only when the output matches a rule you define. Together they turn a classification or a piece of generated text into an automated workflow.

Webhooks

Webhooks let you send your social data — posts, reactions, comments, contacts, job changes, and AI Agent outputs — to any external system in real time. If you can accept an HTTP POST request, you can receive data from your Signals.

What are webhooks and what can they do

All webhooks are created and managed in one place — Integrations → Webhooks. Once created, a webhook can be assigned to any Signal, used in the Contacts manager, or triggered by an AI Agent.

Enriched contacts can be pushed to a webhook automatically as Signals run, or manually in bulk from the Contacts manager. Either way, each contact is sent as a rich JSON payload with 65+ fields covering personal, company, education, funding, and engagement data.

AI Agents can send a webhook when a conditional rule fires — including the AI's output alongside the social data. This lets you route AI-analysed data to any external system based on what the agent found.
